Abstract

Recently, treatment for pediatric cancer has been developing, and long-term survival of pediatric cancer patients has been expected in many cases. On the other hand, the burdens on families of pediatric cancer patients have not lightened adequately. Actually, at Belgium, a mother couldn’t handle the burden and killed her daughter. This passage analyzes the burdens on families, and presents the recommended measures by medical professionals to treat the burdens.
