One reason is that, in Japan, labor pains are thought to give mothers a sense of motherhood. In an interview after childbirth, no difference was found in terms of sense of motherhood between epidural birth and natural birth. Viewing childbirth as a rite of passage, advocating the back-to-nature movement, and listening to obsolete information by medical staff are keeping epidural birth from becoming widely acceptable in Japan. Providing evidence-based education will be the issue in the future.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Taro Haga
\nVolume 1 Issue 1 Pages 78-82
\nFirst Published: September 28, 2018
\n[Japanese]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[30],"tags":[46],"class_list":["post-162","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-invited-article","tag-volume-1-issue-1"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/cbel.jp\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/162","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/cbel.jp\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/cbel.jp\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/cbel.jp\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/cbel.jp\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=162"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"http:\/\/cbel.jp\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/162\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":165,"href":"http:\/\/cbel.jp\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/162\/revisions\/165"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/cbel.jp\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=162"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/cbel.jp\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=162"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/cbel.jp\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=162"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
